Empowering Academic Goals
The Betty L. Nelson Scholarship was established in memory of Mrs. Nelson, a dedicated educator who taught at Mountain View Elementary School, Anchorage, Alaska for twenty-one years. The scholarships purpose is to empower students to achieve their academic goals and encourage deserving students often overlooked for awards to continue their dream of being a college graduate. Our strength lies in our commitment to excellence and our passion for making a positive impact. Since our launch in 1985, we have been dedicated to helping students of any age who meet our eligibility requirements with scholarship money to ensure their college aspirations are attained.
